Malibu Seafood

If your in the mood for a drive along PCH and some good seafood, you should check out this place.  Fall is our favorite time of year to take a drive along PCH and enjoy the clear views along the Pacific.  They have a wide selection of seafood and a favorite is the Ahi Tuna Burger.  You can bring your own wine/beer so it is a great place to watch the sunset as well.

Santa Monica Canyon/Rustic Canyon

What an amazing place the canyon is.  From the hillside homes, to the quaint cottages this is truly a unique area with a friendly neighborhood feel.  Tucked away in between San Vicente and Pacific Palisades the canyon offers amazing walks, restaurants and a great public park.  A mix between Northern California and a European feel the canyon is one place not to miss.  Below are a few images from a recent walk.

 

NEW SUNSET PARK RESTAURANT-THYME

This is going to be the standard for this stretch along Ocean Park Blvd.  Good food, good ambiance and great pre-made items to cook for dinner.  Great coffee’s, and breakfast items and fresh healthy sandwiches.  Just down the street from Bob’s Market, which is one of the last small grocers in town and probably has some best steaks.
